Broke in racing on the front of a J-24
Had the most success with Bill Hoffmiester here in Nashville as foredeck.
Won a bunch of regattas including the Tennessean
(Side bar- won the Tennessean trimming on a Lighting as well - Don Sherborn)
Won the Kentucky lake 100 klick on a Wavelength 24 (Foredeck)
Won the Kentucky State championship on a J-92 (Foredeck)
I have raced on a J-24 off of Cowes England (downwind trimmer) (Won a week-end regatta as a walk-on)
I have raced Etchelles off of Dan Diego (trimmer) (DFL as a walk-on)
I have raced J-30’s on the Chesapeake
I have raced off shore on a Sparkman and Stevens (foredeck)
I have spent a bunch of time trimming and on the front of S2 7 9s.
6'2" 193 pounds 47 years young in good health married for a long time.
I love to race. I like to win more than loose but as a walk-on I have done both and been happy!
I am a very good trimmer and I am a better foredeck.
