170% Jib

I started racing this summer, local club races with a real mix of boats. I have been having trouble in light air and noticed the J24 and Catalina 27T with a 170% jib. This seems to be helping them in the real low winds, 1-2 kts. Anyone else have any experience with this size sail?

I don't have any experience with that sail on a 7.9, but I sure hope that those other boats are taking the appropriate ratings hit for carrying the 170's.
