Replacement Tiller

Post by Lone Star »

I found a guy on eBay who sold me a custom made wooden tiller using my old tiller for measurements. It cost me $135.95.

He is Dr. John Pate, email is jpate@mail.com, eBay seller name is "ninjasforhire".

We had to replace ours and found a match very close at BoatUS. It was a $45 dollar item and we simply got a 2'X2"X1/4" piece of teak to make shims, West 5200, sandpaper and some varnish. One would have a difficult time telling it wasn't custom made - actually, I suppose it was. lol
