New Sails

Post by john hauser »

I would like to buy some new sails(2?) for my boat, #99, and was wondering which maker has the best track record these days. I live in Annapolis, and I seem to have a wide choice of lofts here. Any opinions here would be helpful.
thanks,
John

The Best sails I've seen up here in the PNW would be Quantum with Lidgard a close second.

At the second leg of the Mid South series we (Wined Up TOy)just took 4 out of five bullets with Boston Doyle sails, second place (Itch)had a Boston Dolye inventory as did the 3rd place boat Danger Zone. That plus Spike Boston is the current National champ might give you a idea of which way to go.
