My sheaves are still okay but I would like to get a sense of what others have used to replace their sheaves in the mast for the main, jib and spinnaker halyards and in the boom for the outhaul, reef and topping lift.
All of mine are identical, aluminum and 2 inch by 7/16 th with a 3/8 inch pin.
I would like to use the Harken 6063 ESP Sheave but they are 2 1/4" by 13/16th wide. Has anyone else used the Harken Sheaves?
I suppose I could buy one and try it in place but I am wondering if anyone has used them?

Tigerlily,
We have not yet had to replace our masthead sheeves, each spring inspection has given them an A rating. We have replced the sheeves in the upper board tackle, using Ronstan plastic sheeve that had the correct ohle size. I had to grind down the shoulders a little to get them to fit and they worked out great.

By upper board tackle, I am assuming that you are referring to the daggerboard, yes?
My sheaves are still in very good condition, I am just doing some re-engineering and pre-planning by seeing what others have used when necessary.
I haven't found an exact replacement for the mast and boom sheaves not that something similar won't work.
