7.9 Crusing summer 2007
again a little early, BUT...........I've read that the 7.9 bunch does, or used to organize of sorts an annual North Channel/ Georgial Bay cruise once a summer (in MI) I'm trying to plan me vacation time for next year and was wondering what others are thinking???? it would be great to get some out of staters to trailer up to Lake Huron, the more the merrier. I havn't spent a whole week on a boat in so long, I won't want to go back to work; even if this is not organized I'm going and will notify the message board of the depatrure date; and if any others want to follow that would be great

just do it!
since I can't edit my original post, come one, come all to Georgian bay/ the North Channel this summer (2007) lets make a date; out of state people lets do it, it's an awsome time, what a way to spend a vacation? I'm looking for a jumping off point, thinking of Alpena, for a first day sail across Lake huron, open to suggestions!

I plan to be up near Tobermory around the 4th of July. Anybody else around?
Also, I'm sailing my boat to Sarnia at the end of June & will trailer from there to near Tobermory, then trailering back to the States. ANy tips or Rules / Regulations that I need to be aware of going back & forth across the border???
Thanks
