some of my crew bailed and worst of all my keel won't be ready in time, anyways #216 will not be there this year in hull only in spirit, if anyone needs crew let me know I'll fly down, ride with from the MI area or help drive/tow with my own rig, someone elces 7.9 southward let me know I DO want to go, if all elce fails my Hobie 16 could rear it's ugly face in St Pete just to be there, LOL

ahhh sunny st pete in february

Post by squidwthr »

hello all....hope everyone had a great few months off and a great holiday season. at this point in the year, like every year, i need a ride i think. i've tossed the idea around of chartering and bringing some friends from the frozen water, but in the end crewing and helping out someone else might be the wiser thing to do!! so if you're in need, send me an email or call me, i'll get myself downthere and make the boat go fast. i've sailed with some of you in the past, and most of you that travel at least know me, if not, ask me whatever you'd like to know. now off to lose some holiday pounds and see if i can get a ride.....think sun

Anybody else coming to St. Pete??? Are any of the locals coming?? Rooster Tail, Bama Slammer, ???? Should be a good regatta, can't wait to get out of the cold Michigan weather. See you all next week.

Horizon and Gregarious are sitting in the tropicana parking lot as I type. We'll be down rigging tomorow.

Magic is up the road in St. Pete and will be brought down to the staging area Thursday morning. I'm still up in the white cold but not for too much longer. Flight leaves at 6pm.--Jeff

Tough to beat Sr. Boston in any wind conditions. Even tougher in light air. Congrats Spike.
Congrats also to Homeless Bob (Fleck) and the Pawlowski Brothers for each scoring a bullet.

Looks like a Boston family affair w/ Brad in the top spot in the U20s.

There are a couple of nice pics on the SW website. Here's a nice one of Mickey Gregg & crew at the windward mark.
