OK - Time is getting short - How many are still interested in doing the Detroit Nood ??? There have to be enough guys in the area to get a class again.
As an added bonus, the Red Bull Air Races are coming to the D the same weekend to race over the river. So, it's a good time to c'mon over to Lake St Clair.

Who's IN???

Someone needs to break the ice and sign up. I know Rebel is planning on this event. I have a motorhome that will be parked at the entrance of BYC.

The count is now 2. This thread has been going on for 8 months, everybody that has chimed in about wanting to compete in Detroit, now is the time to register. The last time I counted in all the replies in this thread, we had 8 boats that said they were "for sure" going to race, and another 7 that were waffling as to sail or not. Let's go people!!!

And for those with safety concerns, you can always get a bulletproof lifejacket.

A few more days until the $50 late fee kicks in. Looks like we'll be going golfing instead since we need 6 boats to make a fleet. Come on folks!

Great News Kent! Let's Go Let's GO! There are so many boats in MI. Get online and register and have some fun! There's no reason why we can't get 10+ boats on the line! Ed said that there are a handul of boats an hour away from the regatta site. Come on down! If you're on the fence because you need help launching and rigging the boat there will be several people who can help out. Just ask!
