Apology

Post by dave »

I wanted to take this opportunity to apologize to all who will be or are now sailing in the Class Championships in Nashville. I had every good intention of having the boat ready and being there, but when gas prices shot up earlier the year it took the wind right out of my sails on the refitting job. As it worked out, I am now at home building sails for a client in our club and the series starts in 1.5 weeks! I also have 2 other sails to build among other work!!!

Please don't take me as a blowhard for saying that I would be in Nashville. I'm also an avid bowhunter, and although our bow season has been open since the first of this month, I haven't been once because of work!!!!!

Good luck and great winds to all; I'm looking forward to pics and stories!

February is my REALLY broke time of the year, and I REALLY don't like sailing at St Pete, so I would say the chances of that happening are slim to none. I would LOVE to have sailed at the Class Championships, ESPECIALLY on the windier days, but that's life.

Responsibility and bills suck!!!!!!
