It looks like its scheduled for the 27 and 28th of June. We have a junior regatta on the 3, 4, 5.

Are these dates good for everybody?

OK folks.... It's only the beginning of March but let's start talking up and confirming interest for the S2 Canadians hosted by the Sarnia Yacht Club! Spike has listed the dates above so check your schedules and mark it in! In '07 we sailed 12 races over three days! In '08 the format changed to a 2-day regatta with plenty of races! With this year's CCR only 3 hours away from Sarnia, I'm sure that the Holland fleet plus other Michigan boats will saddle up and head to the S2 Canadians for a "pre-game" contest! I can't think of a better way to tune up for our big event being that it's so close.

So who's in?

MAGIC will be there.

Just brainstorming out loud here...local Sarnia boat plus "Magic" = 6 boats on the line so far! Maybe more because I know a few boats are sitting there on trailers. I would like to 15 boats + attend! A low cost entry fee, a beautiful harbor to sail out of, great people, great fun and of course, great food! What else can you ask for? Let's have some fun!

REBEL will be there. I will go out on a limb, and bet that Frequent Flyer, Hunting Party, and Relentless will be there also. Come to Sarnia, it has been a fantastic regatta the past several years. Only a one hour trailer trip from Detroit, 3 1/2 hours from Holland, and 9 1/2 hours from Nashville (Dr. Itch are you out there??) Come drink real beer and enjoy some great sailing and fun.

Tim;
Thanks for thinking of us here in the GREAT WHITE NORTH.
You are , I think ,on the same parallel of latitude as we are.
I have heard that the queens cup is a wondefull event. WE can't do everything!
John, I think Scott and Kerry will do the Canadians.And I am afraid that they are learning too quickly.
Guts.

We have a small block of rooms at the Harbour Front Hotel. This is at the bay with nice food and Patio bars for night entertainment. $90 for 2 double beds. This place is 1 1/2 miles away. (Say you are with the Sarnia regatta).www.sarniaharbourfront.com

There are cheaper hotels that are further away that are available. If you need info let me know.

We plan on getting as many races in as we can so get your rest now.
