Looks like the weather should be nice all three days. 60 and 70 during the days. However when its warm for a streach of days its ususlly light air.

Can't make the racing but will try to stop by on Thursday, to say hello. Have to be back on the east side by 6 PM.

I was hoping for 18-25 knots! Maybe I'll get lucky with the wind gods!

Our race today should be like the NOODs next week. High around 70 but max winds of 8Kts. OK if you are racing all 7.9's but bad if you are racing Lindenberg 28s amd Wavelength 24s.
But just being on the water is all good.

Spent a lot of time at the dock and RC lowered AP and headed out olny to float for a long time. 1 race with light wind started around 4pm. Course was WLW. Results will be at NOOD site.

Take care all-

Results for St Pete are in. Congratulations to Dave Flechsig and the crew of Rooster Tail for their 1 pt victory over long time St Pete winner Frequent Flyer ( Spike Boston). But wait, there more. Not only did Dave and crew win the 7.9 class ( the 4th largest fleet St Pete) , but he won the boat of the week as well. WAHOOO!!!! That big time news for a 28 year old class.

Nice job.

See you in Annapolis.

Three boats finished the event with perfect scorelines-- Bert Rice's Corsair 24 Mark Twain, Adam Rosen's and Jeff Marks' J/105 Wasabi, and Jim Pearson's Ultimate 20 Slippery-- but the overall victory went to David Flechsig's S2 7.9 Rooster Tail. Flechsig's team edged out Spike Boston's Frequent Flyer team by one point to win the 10-boat division...and a trip to the NOOD Championships in the Caribbean this November

S2 7.9 (10 boats) (top)
Series Standing - 6 races scored

CONGRATULATIONS TO DAVE & CREW ON ROOSTERTAIL. You guys sailed a great regatta. Boy was the fleet tough this year. It is about time the S2 7.9 class got recognized for its competition. Give em Hell in the Caribean NOOD.
