Nut Covers

Post by Craig_in_DC »

I have hull 511, down below the headliner area has many nuts which have nice white plastic caps. Some of them are missing. I checked Graingers, but I just don't know what the proper name is for them. I would like to get a box...

What are they called and where can you buy them. Thank you

I got mine from S2 and they were cheap, $0.05 ea I believe. 2 sizes and I bought a bag of each, seems the large one is the more common. McMaster-Carr has some that may also work. FDA compliant ones are white. http://www.mcmaster.com/#vinyl-caps/=611jow

Are you going to be at the Annapolis NOOD?
If so I can likely get you as many as you want.
Best wishes,

Today's answer is no, but I'm hopefull of the future.

I just purchased the boat and I'm doing some business with Cheseapke Rigging to put the mast back together. Once I have the boat put together, i will better be able to make plans.

I'm excited to contribute to the class, My goals for this year are modest. I don't want to be last on the local races...

hey Craig! welcome to the Class!
always get the FDA approved covers in case one drops in your beer and you swallow it without noticing.
