Prefer sailing North. Diversey / Belmont. It's easier and more fun. The CYC North Station at Belmont is great.

RBW is is. I 'm sailing down so where ever we base is good for me. It would be nice to be close to our course if we can figure that out.

Anybody coming to Chicago? Great Race in a great city. We have had a class the last 22 of 23 years. As of now, there are no boats registered. Robyn???? K2???? Dash???? Minnesota boats????? Holland are you out there???? MR. PRESIDENT??????

Can't, my daughter is graduating high school on June 12th. I know they would rather go to Chicago (and go shopping), but she is class validictorian, so missing graduation is not a good idea!!

I hope we can get a class in Chicago, we as the 7.9 class need to support these regattas to keep the class growing and to keep the value of our boats up. When we stop having enough participation at these regattas, the values of our boats will decrease dramatically. So come on class members, get involved and sign up for the Chicago NOOD.

I am not overly inclined to sail PHRF in the NOODS. What about you? Bummer!

No. There aren't any boats smaler than about 30-33ft that race in Chicago. Doubt they would put us in a class. Haven't raced PHRF in 5 years either. Another loss for the Chicago NOOD. Looks like this regatta is dead for the 79s. Only had a class once the last three years.

You should all come do the Sarnia regatta a couple weeks later, way more sailing and way cheaper

Sorry, can't make North this year (work getting in the way of play). I'll have to schedule my vacation differently next year and go for the sure thing up North.
