Anyone sailing in a PHRF fleet-My local fleet is attemping to disallow raising the board while racing. PHRF regulations refer to "US Sailing Handicap Listing for reference", Is anyone familular with this?
Thanks for any input!

This is, um, misleading at best. What are they talking about?

I race in Olympia Wa under PHRF-NW. We are not allowed to raise the board here. I do carry a 182 rating.

Absolut, the PHRF sailing handbook is available for purchase at the USSailing website store.
However, what is your phrf rating? If it's 165, then you can easily show the MORC numbers to prove that 165 is rated with a movable board.
