Well it finally had to happen, I got broadsided last night by a slightly larger boat. The port toerail got bent up, and the stern pulpit got slightly bent where hit, and the first post over the stern snapped off at the weld at the base.
What I need to find out is,,
1. Where would I find replacement toerail ?
2. Can the stainless steel base be welded back to the post without it turning out looking like a rainbow ?
3. Where would I ever find a replacement stern pulpit ??
Thanks

Re: Something Went BOOM
We had new lifeline stansions made at Garhauer marine I believe. We sent them the broke one and they replicated it. They did a great job.
Our last boat had a stern pulpit that I believe was after market. I didn't like it so I took it off. Not sure where I put it. If you are interested let me know.

The sources S2 used are listed in the S2 7.9 Trivia file on http://hottamaleracing.com Tops in Quality took over the stanchion and pulpit stuff. I have to dig up my S2 contact to see if they have any toe rails. I have a guy who is also looking for one toe rail, and I am looking for the old Quiet Flight 7.9 from the Holland area.

Thanks for the replys, I got a quote from Tops In Quality for the stern rail.. A machine shop is going to weld the post to the base when I pull the boat this fall. If that doesn't work, then I will order a new one. ( on the other guys insurance )
