Detroit NOODS
Looking for logistical suggestions for the Detroit NOODS. Where are people launching? Where are people staying? I realize this is a "home" regatta for a number of the boats, so appreciate suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Detroit NOODS
Roger,
Dave Grover has been a gracious host the past several years at Crescent Sail Club. We have been able to use the hoist at the club, there is also a ramp at the city marina in Grosse Point Park (Vigrass's used it last year, said it was good). Hopefully Dave will be able to have the class stay at Crescent again. I will be contacting him soon to try to make arrangements again for this year. A few of the boats stayed at Bayview, parties are good there. The motor out to the course is about the same, whether comng from Bayview or Crescent. Any more boats from the west side of the state planning to make the trip east?? We are planning on attending, and so is Frequent Flyer. Other regulars include Prime Time, Relentless, and Wind Dog. Gutsy is headed to France, so I don't think Hunting Party will be attending.

Re: Detroit NOODS
MBYC had it's first Wednesday nite "dry land" event last night. Padnos was a no show. Bergmans indicated some interest in Detroit, however seemed more interested in Chicago. Schwartz has some interest, "depending upon crew". Guys from Blackbeard were medium-hot on Detroit. Situation very "fluid" and it may have been the "fluids" talking last nite... I keep pointing out that the more you use your boat, your cost / race keeps going down...

Relentless is planning on attending, who else? Late fee after May 16th.
Re: Detroit NOODS
We used the ramp at the end of nine mile right by fishbones. The place was empty last year. It was alot faster on Sunday on the way out. There was a lengthy line to use the hoist at cresent.
