Not first but close enough.

I'll confirm dockage with Presidents Point, but expect same as last year. Catherine called me, while pulling her Melges from Key West to St Pete, and said the 7.9s are welcome to raft up at her place (beyond Truxton Park).

Matros #520 will be back. We plan a formal entry closer to the event. One issue: we are planning to drive from midwinters to Annapolis and drop the boat. Anyone have an idea regarding an appropriate place (secure, low $$) to park a 7.9 for approximately 6 weeks? Thanks...

Peregrine is now officially signed up!
As we did last year, we will be hosting a party for the class at the house we are renting Friday night.
It is a different house this year but still in the vicinity of the Boatyard. More details to follow.

Roger,

Feel free to leave boat at my house in Deltaville, VA. We're not an ideal location, but we're secure and cheap. House is 3 hours from Annapolis. Here's a map:http://www.bing.com/maps/#JnE9LjM3MyUyY ... YyNTM4Mg==

Annapolis is next up on the 2012 S2 7.9 regatta calendar.
7 boats are signed up so far, with a couple of regulars yet to appear on the scratch sheet. The deadline to register without paying a late fee is Monday, April 16.

Class Party Information
Date: Friday, May 4
Location: 4 Kimber Ridge Court, Eastport (3 blocks from Spa Creek Bridge)
Food: Free cookout for all crews! Class prez and secretary have graciously agreed to fund the gig so dinner will be provided for all, no charge!
Drink: BYOB (this is not the Etchells class, you know)

Hope to see you all there!

Anybody else going to register for Annapolis NOOD?? Last day before late fees kick in is Monday April 16. 9 boats registered now for S2 7.9 class, 162 boats registered for the entire regatta --- pretty good turn out.

Class get-togehter planned for Friday night. It promises to be a good time. Hope to see more boats get on-line and register before Monday.

See you all at the Truxton Park ramp on Thursday morning.

Looks like 9 boats is the final tally for the S2 fleet.
Please confirm if you and your crew intend to show up at the class party Friday night, as we need to know people to expect to feed. Did we mention, FREE COOKOUT?

Hope to see y'all there!

Hey All,
Had been holding out yet pretty sure I would be able to swing Annapolis.... but the reality of business demands are going to keep me on the sidelines for the event.
Still planning to make the trek to the CCR so will look forward to sailing with you all again then.
Best regards,
Travis

PS- Thanks again to all that came to Sarasota in March! Look forward to a big event next year and hope to host the CCR here in the near future.
