I hope to launch my s2 using a crane and I would appreciate any advise on harness configurations. Just acquired my first s2 and thrilled about racing.
Thanks,

Harness set up for S2

Re: Harness set up for S2
I have been hoisting.
the hull is strong around the bulkheads.
I set the rear sling of the hoist along the main traveler.
The front goes in front of the centerboard and is positioned for balance.
The front bottom of the hull is thick and strong here.
I have a photo of my boat in the sling if you want it.

Re: Harness set up for S2
Kevin,
Thanks for your reply. The boat is nearly ready to hit the water and so we are now working on the strap set up. I would love to see a photograph if you can send me one. The points you mentioned make sense, have you thought about Hull compression or so you use spreaders between the straps?
Any information that you can send would e greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Adrian
