mast raising info

Hey 7.9er's -
Can someone help me to use the Forum search function to get info on raising the mast?
The search function says "too common word" no matter what I put in.
(One of my crew guys liked my 7.9 so much that he went out and bought one of his own.
I'm trying to help him get the mast up by hand - no gin pole or hoist available)

AJ, on the class site click "other" on the menu bar, then "tips and tricks". Scroll down near the bottom, you will find a setup I've used many times using the spinnaker pole.
Works real well, just a little time to get it setup. Mast goes up slowly, eliminating any chance of a snagged line or shroud.
