Simple shine to rudder plates

I accidentally found a way to make the black anodised plates to shine again, cheaply. I was using teak oil on the teak wood between the plates and noticed where I had gotten some on the plates it was looking pretty good. So I coated the plates...we'll see if it lasts, but so far not bad for a 31 year old boat!
