Gray water tanks
Do all the boats have them. My thinking on them was to not have a through hull under water?
Gray Water
How about a thru hull above the WL? I would like to get rid of the tank because of storage room and hassle. The sink would still drain with the boat at or near level. Anyone done this??

In many places draining grey water is not legal. In addition, you can/will create enough pressure on starboard tack to push sea water back through your sink. In addition the class rules require, A1.D.3. There shall be no disassembly of any of the interior components.
IMHO putting holes in your boat should be avoided whenever possible.
