I have a bmw engine in my boat that I just purchased and need some help with how the driveshaft is mounted and how the actual engine show move on it's mounts, the driveshaft was removed prior and have no clue how it attaches.

I'd suggest you do a cost comparison between rebuilding the diesel and yanking it out & installing an outboard.
And the boat is worth more with an outboard - right folks?
