My 7.9 has been transported 1000s of miles since I purchased it. The mast riding on the bow pulpit took its toll bent the pulpit and ripped up the front base. My boat is about 3 hours drive away, so I am trying to plan on what I need to do this repair so I can show with all supplies and fix it next week.
I figure out I have to cut out this whole section and re-core it, re-glass it and add backing plates.
Any suggestions on how to do this? What do I need on hand for core material?

Re: Repair bow pulpit
I have a picture of the torn out front legs of the bow pulpit. I tried but there was a message about the forum having met its limit. Any suggestions on how to post it?
