St. Pete NOODs
Hey everyone
Bob Knowles is doing a great job coordinating things for everyone and promoting this event.
In the true spirit of the 7.9 class, there will be plenty of hands to help with launching boats, tuning rigs, etc. So, let's be sure to 'pile on to a great thing'.
Now.....How about some of you guys over in Punta Gorda??? we'd sure like to see a STRONG statement (read 'participation') from that neck of the woods.

St Petes
Brian & Jane on Plain Jane will be there
Avalon will be there!
The 'ole Avalon (#450) will be there after some trailer repair and looking forward to some great competition. Sounds like we'll have a better turnout than last year!
I hope some of these boats take Charleston Race week up on our offer of free storage before the regatta, then come back and race in March!

Crew for St. Pete?
Is any one looking for crew for St. Pete? I know of a bowman looking for a ride. Please respond if anyone needs a crew.
John, thanks for your post. HOWEVER it is much easier for Forum participants to respond when you leave an active email address.

St. Petersberg NOOD Deadlines
Anyone planning to go to the St. Pete NOOD regatta needs to know that the deadline for entering without an added fee is January 23. Applications will still be accepted until February 5 with a late fee and applications MAY BE accepted after that date at the discretion of the committee. It looks like we will have 8 boats there maybe 10 but SAiling World is a bit late in listing the applications received. I have a call in for Jen Davies the director for St. Pete and I'll post the boats who have entered as soon as I receive her reply. Mike Bremer Class Coordinator (# 538 we'll be there).

ramp
Tim, We are planning to use the ramp you are referring. Take an immediate left after entering the marina and it snakes around to the ramp. We plan to be there early on Thursday if you need some help. I am unaware of any ramp alternatives but I will be checking in the next few days. Dave
