Please put this on your racing calendar, August 5 -7, will be the annual S2 Canadians at the Sarnia Yacht Club in Sarnia, Ontario. This will be a great tune up for the Class Championship Regatta which will also be held in Sarnia this year, less than two weeks later. The S2 Canadians will provide three great days of racing on the crystal clear waters of Lake Huron. History has shown us getting in up to 13 races in during the 3 day format. Last year we had 7 boats on the starting line, let's double that this year.
Come sail this regatta and leave your boats in Sarnia for the CCR.

We have decided to do the Canadians as only a 2 day event. Saturday and Sunday August 6 and 7.
We have booked a block of rooms at the Harbour Front Inn Hotel 1-800-787-5010 www.harbourfront.com
Rooms are booked under Canadians Sailing.
They are $90.00 a night for 2 doubles and $85 a night for one queen.
If you have any problems booking call Lynz here at the loft 519-344-5236

Congratulations to Tom, Spike and the "Radio" Flyer gang. Great to see Paul LaTour in the money.
Hopefully next year we'll coordinate schedules better. This year the regatta conflicted with the big MBYC invitational. In the 7.9s it was the usual suspects... Second Wind - Bergman, K2 - Padnos, Ol Blue Eyes - Schwarz.
Again, maybe we can make this a class regatta next year... would an extra day of racing help make the trip worth it?
